Securiti alternative for DPDP
consent kept in India.
A sourced comparison of consent capabilities for teams with Indian users, and where Securiti's wider data platform is the better fit.
Who should choose TryTrustable over Securiti?
Consider TryTrustable instead of Securiti if consent on your own websites and apps is the job, you need DPDP notices in Indian languages with proof of what each person saw, and you want Indian consent records stored in India. Stay with Securiti if you want one vendor for data discovery, data security and AI governance across many data systems, or need IAB TCF.
Securiti's consent management is part of a much wider data platform. Consent by TryTrustable is a consent management platform sold on its own, with rights requests, processors and breaches in the same product.
TryTrustable vs Securiti for consent, as of September 2026
| Capability | TryTrustable | Securiti |
|---|---|---|
| India's DPDP Act | Yes. Section 5 notices in English or Eighth Schedule languages, consent per purpose, withdrawal, rights requests on statutory clocks, and nominations | Yes. A DPDP solution page covering cookie banners, consent collection, a preference centre and tracking of consent revocation[1] |
| Notice languages (as each vendor states it) | Versioned notices in 22 languages; each consent record stores the language the person saw | No number stated; languages shown according to the visitor's browser settings[2] |
| IAB TCF | No. TryTrustable is not an IAB TCF registered CMP and does not produce TCF consent strings | Yes. Its cookie consent page cites TCF v2.0 and a later blog post v2.2[3][4]; on IAB Europe's CMP list[8] |
| Google Consent Mode v2 | Yes. All Consent Mode v2 signals default to denied before Google tags load and update per purpose on the visitor's choice; can be switched off if you run your own | Google-certified CMP that integrates with “GCM”; Consent Mode v2 is not named on the pages reviewed[4][5] |
| Global Privacy Control | Yes. In US opt-out regimes a GPC signal is honoured as an opt-out and recorded on the consent record | Yes[2] |
| Proof of consent | Append-only, hash-chained ledger: purposes, notice version, language, time and action per record | Records of consent and an audit trail for auditing and reporting[2] |
| Data residency and India hosting | Hosted in India (Google Cloud, Mumbai) today; expanding to Singapore, the US and the EU | Tenants in the US, Canada, EU, Indonesia, Australia and UAE; India is not listed[6] |
| Public pricing | Consent on its own is quoted. Platform plans, which include the consent manager, are published on the pricing page | No. Personalised quote[7] |
As of September 2026. Securiti cells are taken from Securiti's own public pages and IAB Europe's CMP list, footnoted below; “not stated” means we could not find it there, not that it does not exist. Check the linked page before relying on a cell.

When TryTrustable fits better than Securiti
Consent records for Indian users in India. Securiti lists six tenant regions, not including India[6]. TryTrustable keeps Indian customer data in India, as the security page states.
Languages as evidence. The DPDP Act requires notice in English or an Eighth Schedule language. TryTrustable versions notices in 22 languages, and the language shown is stored on each consent record, which is what answers the question of whether the person could read what they agreed to.
Tamper-evident proof. The consent ledger is append-only and hash-chained. An altered record breaks the chain, which matters when section 6(10) puts the burden of proof on you.
A narrower purchase. Consent by TryTrustable is the consent engine on its own, for a team whose problem is consent rather than a data platform.
When Securiti is the better choice
Securiti is the better fit in several respects.
- A wider data platform. Data discovery, data security and AI governance across systems, with 1000+ integrations stated[5].
- IAB TCF. Cited on its pages[3][4]. We do not support TCF.
- Google certification. Securiti states it is a Google-certified CMP[5]. We make no such claim.
- Maturity. TryTrustable is younger, and our own SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification is in progress.
A plain word on IAB TCF. TryTrustable does not support the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. It does not produce a TCF consent string and is not on IAB Europe's list of registered CMPs. If you sell programmatic advertising in Europe and your ad partners require a TCF string, that is a reason not to switch to us today.
What switching from Securiti involves
If Securiti's consent records feed its wider data platform, decide first what should read consent after the switch. Consent by TryTrustable exposes consent to your own services through the SDK's consent endpoints.
Installation is one script tag, first in <head> and not async, so the blocker exists before anything else runs. Remove the old banner in the same release: two banners mean two writers on the same tags, and Google Consent Mode in particular should have one source of truth.
Consent records do not migrate in any meaningful sense. A record proves what a person saw on the old banner, so keep the old platform's export as the record for that period rather than re-dating it into a new system. The TryTrustable ledger starts on the day the new banner goes live. If your notice or purposes change in the switch, that is a new notice version and needs fresh consent anyway; if they do not, existing choices can be honoured by asking again only when the old consent expires.
The things people ask us
Does Securiti support the DPDP Act?
Yes. As of September 2026 Securiti has a DPDP solution page covering cookie banners, consent collection, a preference centre and tracking consent revocation. We did not find a stated number of notice languages or an Eighth Schedule claim. TryTrustable versions DPDP notices in 22 languages and stores which one each person saw.
Where does Securiti host customer data?
Securiti's education portal lists customer tenant hosting in the US, Canada, EU, Indonesia, Australia and UAE, and does not list India as of September 2026. TryTrustable stores Indian customer data in India. If residency is contractual for you, confirm the current regions with each vendor in writing.
Does TryTrustable support IAB TCF like Securiti?
No. Securiti's pages cite IAB TCF support and it is on IAB Europe's CMP list. TryTrustable does not support the Transparency and Consent Framework and produces no TCF string. If your advertising partners require TCF, Securiti meets that requirement and we do not.
Is Securiti a better choice for a large enterprise?
Often, if you want one vendor for data discovery, data security and AI governance across many data systems. Securiti states 1000+ integrations across data systems. If the problem is consent on your websites and apps for DPDP and GDPR, a consent-first product may be the narrower and simpler purchase.
Is TryTrustable cheaper than Securiti?
We cannot say. Neither publishes prices: Securiti offers a personalised quote and TryTrustable quotes plans after a call. Compare written quotes for the same scope. Consent by TryTrustable is sold on its own, so the quote covers consent rather than a wider data platform.
Is TryTrustable a registered Consent Manager under the DPDP Act?
No. A Consent Manager is an intermediary registered with the Data Protection Board under Rule 4 of the DPDP Rules 2025, which comes into force on 13 November 2026, so no vendor is registered as of September 2026. TryTrustable is a consent management platform: software a Data Fiduciary runs on its own site. The same distinction applies to Securiti.
